In Windows Server 2008, Outlook 2007 tells me that I need to enable Windows Search Service to be able to search thru email instantly. I could not figure out how to enable the same. Please help.

The Windows Search Service can be installed by enabling it under the File Services Role.

These are the steps to add and enable the Windows Search Service in Windows Server 2008:

1. Start Server Manager
2. Click on Roles in the left navigation pane
3. Select Add Role in the Roles Summary pane to the right
4. Select the File Services role and click Next
5. Select the Windows Search role service

Finish the wizard and now you should have the Windows Search service up and running.

Hi, I’ve HP Compaq nx6125 notebook running Windows Vista. It has a broadcom bluetooth device. I keep getting “Bluetooth Peripheral Device” driver installation notice. I have not any driver CD for my Bluetooth device. What to do?

I need a command to stop and start print spooler on Windows Vista.

Command to stop ‘Print Spooler’:
    net stop "print spooler"

Command to start ‘Print Spooler’:
    net start "print spooler"

Command to restart ‘Print Spooler’:
    net stop "print spooler" & net start "print spooler"

1. Open your favorite web browser.
2. Go to the website that you want to add to the Start menu.
3. In the address bar click and hold the favicon (the small icon just to the left of the URL).
4. Drag the icon to your Start button and it will start showing up in your Start menu.
